The filling of each punching bag gradually compacts, creating a hollow area at the top of the bag, which, under the weight of the bag, begins to be compressed by the chains. This worsens the visual effect and reduces the training surface.

The use of hoops on the bag chains ensures that the bag maintains its original shape at all times, ensuring an attractive appearance and optimal technical parameters.

The use of rings is especially recommended when the standard length of the chains will be shortened due to the low training room (the shorter the chains, the greater the pressure of the chains on the surface of the bag).

Take care of the durability of the carrier tapes

During heavy bag training, the straps often twist. This twisting causes uneven distribution of the bag's weight across the straps, which can lead to premature wear or tearing of the seams. Using a ring ensures the straps lie naturally and prevents them from twisting during training.

We recommend using the R40 rim, which works well with bags with a diameter of 40 - 45 cm.

2. Where should I mount the rim?

The hoop can be mounted at any chain height, depending on the desired effect. However, it is recommended to use the hoop directly on the triangles attached to the risers, as shown in the photos.

3. My bag does not have detachable first chain links, how do I attach the hoop in this situation?

Check to see if the detachable link is on the swivel side. If so, you can detach the chains on that side, allowing you to attach a hoop. All DBX BUSHIDO bags have detachable links on the risers or swivel side, so you can use a hoop. If you have a bag from another brand that doesn't have a detachable link, you can attach a hoop by attaching it directly to the chain links using additional fasteners.
